The treatment gives visibly firmer skin, stimulates collagen production and can reduce localised fat deposits - all without surgery, needles or downtime.

About the treatment

The device delivers micro- and macro-focused ultrasound energy to precise depths in the skin and subcutaneous tissue - from the superficial dermis to the SMAS layer (the same layer targeted in surgical facelifts). It creates controlled thermal coagulation points at temperatures of 65–75 °C, which trigger the body's natural wound-healing response and stimulate new collagen and elastin production.

Unlike lasers and radiofrequency treatments that work from the surface down, HIFU bypasses the outer skin entirely and delivers energy exactly where it is needed. This means no damage to the skin surface, no burns and no significant recovery period.

Ultraformer III is suitable for the face, neck, eye area, jawline, chest, abdomen, arms, thighs and knees. Treatment times range from 20 to 90 minutes depending on the area, and most patients require only a single session to see significant improvement.

What to expect

A subtle tightening and lifting effect is often visible immediately. Mild redness, warmth or tingling may be present for a few hours.

Inflammation phase begins immediately as the skin's repair process activates. New collagen forms within 48 hours (proliferative phase). The skin gradually becomes firmer over 3 weeks to 6 months as collagen remodels (remodelling phase).
